Are you looking for End of Year bulletin board ideas? Something that celebrates the year you’ve had together and gets your students excited for summer? I’ve got 4 bulletin board ideas that I know your students will love! I’ve got llamas, sloths, ocean divers, and super heroes. Each bulletin board is easy to set up, easy to implement, and easy to fall in love with. The only hard part will be deciding which bulletin board idea you want to use!
Let’s start with ocean divers.
1. End of Year Diving into Summer Bulletin Board
This bulletin board is one of my favorites. The coral reef in this ocean themed bulletin board is so vibrant and beautiful. And the craft that goes with it? The cutest. It’s the perfect way to wrap up the year and get excited for summer. After setting up your board, it will look like this:

Then your students finish four sentences about summer. Then they pick one (or more) of their answers and write it in a thought bubble. (When I first created this resource, i originally used speech bubbles. Then it occured to me that they are under water, soooo…. thought bubbles it is! haha).

Aren’t they adorable? Look at those little deep sea divers! The end result is the cutest summer display!

The best part is that after the last day of school is over, you can leave everything up and take down the word, “summer.” Then you can insert the grade that you teach and viola! You’ve already got your back to school board set up.
This summer bulletin board also comes with a countdown phrase that you can use instead. “It’s o-fish-ally summer in ___ days.”

You can’t go wrong with any of these end of year ocean bulletin board phrase ideas!
Next up, we’ve got another countdown bulletin board ideas, but with sloths!
2. End of the Year Sloth Printable Countdown Bulletin Board

Nothing says, “Hanging in there,” like teachers and students at the end of the school year. This bulletin board perfectly sums up that feeling, but also encourages students to stay on track.
After setting up your bulletin board, you can give students a handout like this:
After students pick one thing they promise to do, they can write it on a sloth, and then you can hang their sloths on your bulletin board!
3. End of Year LLAMA Fun Bulletin Board
As a llama lover and pun enthusiast, I HAD to create an end of year llama bulletin board.

4. Super Hero End of Year Bulletin Board
Concluding our list of memorable end-of-year bulletin board ideas, this Super Hero theme creates a dynamic visual representation of appreciation and celebration for the school year’s achievements. The board’s message, “This year was super,” invites students to reflect on their positive experiences and successes. Add their faces to the bulletin board in superhero suits? Even better!

This graphic organizer makes reflecting on the past year SUPER easy. When I made this graphic organizer, I didn’t want to assume that every student’s experience was perfect and wonderful. My daughter is in 4th grade and this last year was so hard for her. She would NOT think that this year was super. So that’s why, in this graphic organizer, the instructions explain that what made the year super, was GROWING. As they fill out this graphic organizer, they think about how they grew: what did they learn? What did they get better at? When did they laugh? What did they love?
Then they pick one or two of their answers and write it in the speech bubble.
SUPER cute, right?
There you have it. Four memorable bulletin board ideas that you can use at the end of the year. They are perfect for the months of May or June.
